Waking up and getting going isn't always the easiest. I know that I am the MASTER when it comes to the snooze button! Some days you need more than just strong coffee to put one foot in front of the other. Whether you use your diffuser, essential oil roll-ons, or a massage lotion, here are ways to start your day energized with these essential oils. I personally use and endorse Young Living Essential Oils, but most of these oils can be found online or in your favorite health foods store!
Diffuse Your Way to Being Awake
You can add these to the diffuser the night before and hit the switch as you are hitting the snooze button for the umpteenth time. These blends will gently wake up your brain and help you get ready for your day. Wherever you spend most of your morning is where you want to put your diffuser - so either right next to your bed or where you enjoy your morning cup of coffee.

- Grapefruit Essential Oil: 5 Drops
- Orange Essential Oil: 5 Drops
- Lemon Essential Oil: 5 Drops
- Cinnamon Essential Oil: 2 Drops

- Peppermint Essential Oil: 3 Drops
- Orange or Wild Orange Essential Oil: 3 Drops

- Clary Sage Essential Oil: 3 Drops
- Bergamont Essential Oil: 3 Drops
- Oregano Essential Oil: 3 Drops

- Pettigrain Essential Oil: 3 Drops
- Geranium Essential Oil: 2 Drops
- Nutmeg Essential Oil: 1 Drop
- Lemon Essential Oil: 1 Drop

Sometimes you need your essential oil blends when you are not at home. Make these quick roll-on blends with your favorite carrier oil like grapeseed, sweet almond, coconut, or jojoba. You can also make these blends into massage oil blends. Get some roller bottles (where to buy) and just keep the proportions the same to fill the bottles with your oils and you will always have your favorite blend on-hand!

In the morning, use these blends on the bottom of your feet before you put on your socks and shoes. The blends tend to work faster when absorbed initially by the feet. Roll the blends on the inside of your wrists and breathe in deeply. If you need a burst of creativity or concentration, dab a drop or two onto your temples and massage in.
