  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (I always use kosher salt)
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 2/3 cup heavy cream (or sour cream or combination)
