I know that this sounds like a strange thing, but on Wednesday May 20th, California Tortilla restaurants will be giving out free Pop-Tarts to all customers.
Why would you want to go to California Tortilla for a Pop Tart, of all things?
This year we’ve upped the Pop Tart Day ante. One very lucky customer from each California Tortilla will find a golden ticket in his or her Pop Tart pouch (inserted safely with plastic gloves and sterile surgical tongs and then licked). The golden ticket will entitle the aforementioned lucky customer to FREE BURRITOS FOR A YEAR! Seriously, how much fun is that? And I swear, if you find it and you’re not really excited about it, we’re going to take it back. That’ll teach you.
See you on the 20th! (And no, I promise we didn’t lick the golden ticket. But we thought about it.)
