Of all the freebies that I have listed on this site in the past year, this is by far the best (in my never-to-be-humble opinion). This is better than a free sample of shampoo or Chex Mix. It is because of Dave Ramsey and what he teaches in the Total Money Makeover that we got on a budget and we switched to a cash-based system in our house. It is because of Dave Ramsey that we are almost completely debt-free (we were debt-free, then my son needed surgery and we have a small debt from that to pay off because our Emergency Fund wasn’t quite built up enough to cover the deductible/co-pay). It is because of what we learned from Dave Ramsey that Brad and I no longer fight about money (except when I get lazy and do the “eh – I’ll pay bills tomorrow…or the next day…or the next day”. It’s not that we don’t have the money, it’s just that I hate giving it away!). Even all these months later, I still Tivo his show on Fox Business News each day and watch them while I am doing things around the house. He just has a way of talking that keeps you motivated and “off the stupid pills”.
Dave Ramsey offers a common-sense approach to managing your money. He shows you how to create a budget to help you live within your means while attacking your debt in a way that keeps you motivated to keep paying it off. He teaches the importance of building and relying on an Emergency Fund, rather than keeping a credit card “just in case”.

I cannot recommend Dave Ramsey highly enough…that is why I am spending so much time to post this freebie. The dude changed my life for the better.

I love Dave Ramsey also, and wanted to offer a suggestion. While the 30 day free trial is great, once one the sight (after signing up), you can only go so far with the program until you have $1,000 in your Emergency Fund. I signed up for this in the past, and was not able to utilize any tools beyond a certain point, without the fund. (Yes, I could have lied to the computer!) but chose not to. Just an FYI!
